From July 9 to August 20: visit of the Quanah Parker exhibition at the town hall
A photo exhibit of Quanah Parker’s “One Man, Two Worlds” will be on display in the lobby of Southlake Town Hall. Organized by the Southlake Historical Society, the exhibit includes photos of Cynthia Ann Parker and her Comanche son Quanah. A reception will be held from 4-6 p.m. July 24 at City Hall and will feature Quanah’s great-great-grandson, Lance Tahmahkera, who will share stories. July 13 to December 28: Ride a Bike, Have a Beer
Cyclists gather every Wednesday evening to explore some of the Grapevine trails on this social ride hosted by Hop & Sting Brewing Company. After the ride, participants will return to the brewery for a beer. Landon Winery-Grapevine hosts a monthly wine glass painting class event. August’s design is “Cutie Pie Cacti”.
